What are KSAs and why do you need good ones?
KSA, or Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities, is a series of narrative statements that are required when applying to United States Federal government job openings. KSAs are used to determine, along with résumés, who the best applicants are when several candidates qualify for a job (more like HUNDREDS from my experience with government vacancies!).
It’s an absolute MUST to give the best response you can give. And while a resume shows your general experience, education, activities, and other accomplishments, the KSAs listed in the job opening are the most important because they give you the opportunity to draw attention to and expound upon your specific skill set that the agency is currently seeking.
I’ve worked for the government, at many levels, and successfully applied and hired on to some pretty exciting and interesting jobs. The key to my success was my ability to write about and convey my skills and abilities in the language that the government recruiters understood. And I can help you with this too.
- KSA writing services include a custom questionnaire that will be emailed to you upon receipt of your order, a 1 hour consultation and discussion of your career goals and the vacancy to which you are applying (via telephone or SKYPE) and up to 2 revisions of the KSA statement.
- If you require more than the included revisions above, an additional charge of $25.00 per revision will be billed in advance of additional work.
